Beenox is a video game developer company situated in Québec City, Québec, Canada. This company is responsible for producing and porting some Call of Duty games in the main franchise along with its spin-offs, alongside Mercenary Technology, Certain Affinity, and other producers. They are owned by Activision.

History[]

Beenox was founded by Dominique Brown in May of 2000. Activision gained ownership in May 25, 2005.

Before Beenox's contribution to the Call of Duty franchise, they were responsible for developing and porting other games, most of them also owned Activision, such as Spider-Man: Friend or Foe in 2007.

Currently, Beenox is mainly porting games to other consoles for Activision.
