The Flinger is a utility featured in the Call of Duty: Black Ops Nazi Zombies map Call of the Dead.
Using the Flinger

The flinger is located on the middle boat in 'Call of the Dead' and requires the power to be activated and certain places to be opened for it to be used. When activated, the Flinger will fling players across the map towards the lighthouse with a safe landing, unfortunately for zombies they cannot use the flinger as well, and they die when they are on it and it is activated. The flinger costs nothing to use and to activate you just have to stand on it and wait for around 2-3 seconds.
