M14

.The M14 appears in Every map in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II (excluding Dead Ops Arcade). The M14 also appears in the Zombies Chronicles maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops III, and appears in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War as the DMR 14.

Call of Duty: Black Ops[]

Overview[]

The M14 is a weapon which can be bought off the wall in most maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops and Call of Duty: Black Ops II for 500 points in the first room. The M14 has an eight round magazine. Ammo can be bought off the wall for 250 points. The version of the M14 in-game actually more closely resembles an M1A, a civilian grade version of the M14, reason being the version in-game only features a semi-auto fire capability and an eight round magazine, which a real M14 would feature a 20 round magazine and a full auto feature. Pack-a-Punch still doesn't resemble an actual M14, but it does add a magazine increase from 8 to 16.

in Kino der Toten, the wallbuy location is at the top of the right hand staircase in the Starting Room.

"Five"[]

In "Five", if the player looks towards the large television screen from the spawn, they will find the M14 in the back along the wall to their left.

Ascension[]

The M14 wall buy is directly opposite the lander which the player(s) spawn from.

Mnesia[]

When placed in the Pack-a-Punch Machine, it will be called the Mnesia. After the upgrade, it has a 16 round magazine, 192 in reserve, increased damage, and a Grip is added. However, it's still not a good weapon to use on high rounds.

Trivia[]

  • The Pack-a-Punched name, Mnesia, may be a play of the word, Amnesia, a sickness that causes memory disturbance or loss.
  • When PaP'ed, it is the favored weapon of Takeo Masaki. Incidentally, he was also the first person to break his amnesia.
