Dear Readers,
Today was a good day for us, but a bad day for many others. The man who is now within the lab with us, who has refused to give us his name, did come through with his promise to reach us with a larger band of troops. His men arived in a massive wave of gun fire on the walking corpses, and caused quite a bit of damage. His attack began with a full strike team of one hundred men, sadly, he is the only survivor, and we are now fighting for our lives against those creatures. It was expected however, that these attempts would fail, for there is so far, and estimated six thousand zombies in the fields surrounding our labs, I would say that this mans forces took out at least a third of that, perhaps twenty kills per man. They fought their way to the labs main door and formed a definsive perimiter to hold out untill we unblocked the door and could make good our escape, but this did not turn out well. By the time we finaly got the doors open there were perhaps ten men left including this new man, and they got cut down as they retreated inside. Unfourntunatly the zombies got in as well, we fought them back and managed to put up some new barracades in the halls to block the zombie advances. Along with this man two of his troopers made it in as well, but by seeing the rapidly spreading necrosis around their wounds I knew they would die soon, so I gave them the mercy of a quick death by a bullet to the back of their heads. Evaluating our new position, things have gotten worse, soon we will either have to try to make a break for it and run, or just hold out here untill we die. None of us are sure what should be done, but we will have to choose soon. This new man that has joined us, strangely he seems to know more about the "Giant" project and the undead soldiers than I do, but avoids the conversation when I ask him how this is. I asked him for his name once we were behind the saftey of the barricades, and he told me "The Sniper".
